Welcome to Mrs. Wilkinson's First Grade class page!
This is my 11th year teaching and my 6th year here at Colgate. This is my 5th year in first grade. I honestly have to say that I am really excited to be teaching first grade again!!
I am happily married and have three children. My older son is in 11th grade, my younger son is in 3rd, and my foster daughter is in a 23 program working on her ABC's.
The main reason that I began teaching is because I truly love children and want to work to create a love of learning in them. Although I have taught many children I am always amazed at how different and unique each child is. I believe that every child should feel important and should know that they can be successful.
I think that communication between a parent and teacher is very important. I will keep you as informed as possible about information and activities that occur in our classroom and throughout our school.
